This is a Civil Engineer with around a work ex of 6 months till now. I was going through the batch profile of NITIE PGDIM and noticed that only around 5-6 Civil Engineers were there out of a total pool of 250 students.
Is NITIE biased towards Civil Engineers or generally Civil Engineers do not apply for the course itself. I have been planning on going for NITIE since some time and these stats are a little discouraging.
Some help please?

Given the uncertainty surrounding the CAT result date it is unlikely that the deadline be extended. So apply soon to not miss an opportunity to apply to one of India's 15 centers of excellence.
We urge you to fill the form well before the last date to avoid last minute hassles and not miss out on applying to the institute.
In case the CAT results are announced later than 15th, complete the form in all respects including making the payment and uploading of the photographs leaving just the CAT results section before the deadline passes. The form would be reopened after the CAT results to update the score only. No fresh application would be entertained at that time.

Guys I am preparing for cat 2016. I am gud at basics and able to solve easy once. I cant solve problems beyond that even if it of level 2 difficulty. i know all the concepts and formulas but i donno how to implement them in problems. can anyone help me out.
