PSUs have stopped recruiting from campuses due to madras high court ban.but again they have started going for campus placement.Regarding Infrastructure and Placement, It varies from NITs to NITs.Don't apply to all the NITs.GO for some selected NITs after having necessary info about them. Private companies, Banks and Some universities are also coming regularly to recruit from NITs.

I have CAT 91.7, Work Ex-19Months in IT. 10th-87,12-92,Grad-75. General Category. Am from TN.
I have appplied for KJSomaiaya,BIM,TAPMI. Got call from IMT-G(Main Interest-Marketing).
What are the realistic chances of converting the above colleges. Definitely all will give GD PI calls.
Also whether KJ Somaiya give preference to Maharashtrians and is it difficult for other state ppl to get admit at 91.7?

@Arun_Chennai Be it a person from Maharashtra, or the rest of India, competition will be same for all at KJ Somaiya. No such preference.
Regarding your chances of converting the calls that you've got, it'll all depend on your GD-PI. But still, I think you've good chances because you've fairly good academics too. All the best to you 😃

With this score you will have less chance of getting call from LIBA or Welingkar.You can for some good NITs like trichy,surathkal etc.you will have a good chance of getting call from them and also these colleges are very good in terms of ROI..ATB..
