@plmsrkr If you're serious about your career and future, I would suggest you to drop the plan of joining any MBA college this year. With 3+ years of work-ex, you deserve something better. You should not target any college outside the top 20 rank. If you don't get admission in top 20, its better to go for Executive MBA.

thankyou sir, i am in two minds i have 96.39 in xat and calls from other colleges, and then there is this pharma call. although i am a microbiology graduate i am not keen to go in the pharma field as it seems limiting my abilities. i will be reconsidering...

Placements are quiet good in some NITs as most PSUs used to come there to recruit candidates.In terms of ROI also,No other college can be compared to NITs.You can go NIT,trichy , NIT,surathkal ,NIT,allahabad etc as management dept. in these colleges are quite older and experienced once.

Apply to NITs,SDM Mysore,Christ College etc.but give more preference to NITs rather than going for pvt colleges.

with this percentile you can go for DMS, Pondicherry Central University. It has one of the best ROI in INDIA. Fees is hardly 70000 for 2 years. Hostel fee is 900 per year for boys and 0 for girls. And has an average package of 4.5 Lpa.. so its worth trying... form will be out in next 2-3 days... and form fee is hardly 300 bucks...

@Dev_MBApagal ---> i have checked nit threads ...there i found skeptical responses, some are saying placements r not good,some r saying no proper infrastructure....
well i need 2 know as PSU hv stopped recruiting from colleges ...how does this going 2 affect the placements of nits..as PSU's were major recruiters of campus(nit's)?
and how about the private sector job scenario in nit's?

oye...yeh comment indore pe nahi kiya clg ke bare hi bol rahi thi....advise hai lena hai lo nahi lena koi gal nahi...as far as indore is concerned...INDORE absolutely rocks!
