@avinashkrjha: Hi, i'm new to this site. My acad is 10th- 88% 12th-73% and grad is 70%. I have done b-tech from a reputed college. What colleges should i look for if i get a percentile of 98+ in cat. Is there a chance for any of the IIM's???

Can't say about IIM's. But if you score high in CAT, then you def have chances for few IIM's if not all.
You can have good chances for other colleges like MDI, NITIE, IIT's, etc.. !!

All I know is, that DCE used to be a god college for engineering. Its not as good as it was. Plus, its MBA is going on a downward slide. Well, the talk of the town is that ways. Hence I need to know what is the situation of the college?

It is def one of the Top Colleges in India for Engg.
MBA Course at DCE was launched only 3 years back. 2010-12 Batch was the first batch to pass out.
Avg placements was around 5.5-6 lacs as far as I know.
IMO, it's a decent option for someone getting a %ile in 80's.

3)sri balaji societ,pune
4)great lakes.chennai
(all r for PGDM)

i got 77%ile in CAT and 191 in sept CMAT.
which coll i should apply to? i have 3 yrs of experience

I am also quite agreed with @avinashkrjha regarding best engg. college. But regarding MBA i don't think it's a good option to go with. You can choose good NITs and good pvt colleges rather than going for it with percentiles in 80..

I don't think NDIM is a good option to go for. with 71% Apply to NITs like NITK,Surathkal , NIT,Allahbad etc and also Pvt Colleges like SDM,Mysore , Greatlakes etc..

With your Descent CAT score and 3 years Work EXP. Apply to colleges like NITs, SDM Mysore,Christ Bangalore etc..
