You cannot compare the PGDM with the PGDM-HR course. Course structure is different (in 2nd year) & the placements are different for both. If you're interested in HR domain then think of taking up the HR course. IMI HR is one the well known courses in HR in the country, so yes its good. But an exact definition of "good" will have to given by you depending on what you're interested in for a career and your expectation by doing an MBA.

dude great lakes demand great profile.it mentions in its website it will prefer rank holders,state toppers,branch toppers..if you are go ahead,i have 96 in cat,,but i am not applying because my profile is poor..
