I have CAT OA:85.80 and 2.1yrs experience in IT..I have applied for TAPMI,BIM,KJ Somaiya-IB ...Which college can i apply more?? Please Suggest?

Tell me about BIMTECH,XIME Bangalore and We school?

IFMR also you can apply, BIMTECH, XIME BANG, WE are decent colleges but if your seeking decent packages, but their average shall be less than the 1st 3 companies you applied

with a xat percentile of 80.35 open category, which all clgs can i apply fr.Till nw hv applied fr XIME. Ne more suggestions?

Coz in the first case ...u went get a good ROI if going to XIMB..!!!!!!!!

@frenticfilosfer I have a different take on this.. XIMB is a good college and if one wants to do an MBA then it is a good option..

ROI cannot be determined so easy.. you may be looking at the starting salary package only to see the RoI, but profile changes completely after an MBA..

I agree bro ki path changes..but a person with 3 yr exp if he is in HP RnD den his salary wud be ....around 8 lacs....in that case if he wants to change his profile den its okay ..else it wont be gud....coz as far as i knw the average salary if XIME wont be more than 7 lacs or so...

XIMB newys has higher than it ...which they quote as 9.2 lac on dre site...which i du n feel true as i have a frend frm there who says that 9 and above package is offered only to a meagre 15 -20 ppl ...rest all get packages of 5-7.......evn he got 5.5 when he joined HP..!!!!!!!!

EL: 71.15

Overall: 86.70

Which colleges shd i apply .... i had applied for XIMB ...but with this score i wont be getting a call ..

Hi @saransh007

with such academics and such cat and mat score, you can't get a very good college.but still you can apply to NIT durgapur, NIT Rourkela, MS Rameiya etc.Hope for best..ATB..

Apply to XIME, St. Aloysius, SDM mysore etc..

Both are quite good colleges.SDM is at Mysore,Karnataka and St. Aloysius is at Mangalore,karnataka..Regarding Placements kindly put your queries on the respective college threads.

@Dev_MBApagal @funnyhunny With an overall of 86.70, you can try for better colleges than St. Aloysious. SDM Mysore is a good option, and so is XIME, Bangalore. Take a look at the corresponding XAT thread.
