[2023] Which B-Schools should you apply to?

Hi Guys,my Profile...
CAT-- 95.03 (97 & 84.79)
X--- 79.50,
XII-- 86.40,
B.E-- 71.80
Work ex- 30 months.
What are my chances of getting call from MDI ,IMI, IMT-G...
And Can you please suggest me which IITs i should apply.
@dicks

I assume you are asking about Army Institute , Kolkata.

I am not aware of that institute's cut off %ile. But then, you should def get a call from that college as well.

If you have to chose 1 out of these two options, I suggest you to look at PagalGuy Rankings once.. !!

Thanks suwinder, what colleges would you recommend which are good in entrepreneurship, if I apply this year and next year ?
Entrepreneurship is not something that the institute can guarantee. If you have a winning idea, risk taking mentality, confidence, financial backing and all those skills that an entrepreneur requires you can start a business without MBA also. A General MBA will help fine tune some of those skills, maybe help improve/build some skills like confidence, presentation skills etc. and give you an idea of different aspects of a business like Finance, Marketing, Operations etc., but not teach you specifically from an entrepreneurship perspective. Most of the major institutes do have a separate subject/paper on Entrepreneurship, and/or an Incubation/Entrepreneurship Cell which promotes and helps support new business ventures by helping you in getting funding from Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists etc. But how good they are and how it will help you is something you'll have to find out from each institute by going through website, speaking with current students, alumni (if you can find any) etc.

Also, you may want to look at some Family Managed Business programmes offered by institutes like NMIMS, ISB etc. which MAY help better in this regard!!

MDI - Borderline (Converting will be next to impossible)
IMI - Sure shot call
IMT - G - Very good chances of call

You can consider applying to All the IIT's except for Bombay and Delhi.

@rishg MBA in Indian institutes does not focus on entrepreneurship as such and are designed to provide you a more holistic view of the corporate environment If you are able to crack the top 20, rest assured, by the end of your course you will have gathered sufficient material in you to take up the challenge of being an entrepreneur. All the best
