@Ranu123 I would say NM Core> XIM BM..Last year one of my colg senior was in same dilemma..He choose for NM Core. Though later he converted MDI and left.He said placement in NM core is slighly better than XIMB(For finance & marketing placement in NM is much better). Mumbai is another advantage compared to Bhubaneswar.
Now regarding ROI, your EMI might be 200-500 higher in case of NM. Does it matter lot?
Only one area where XIM BM has an edge that is infrastructure. But quality of facuty and student will be almost same. So your learnings would not get hampered.

I want to know in what perspective u r saying this, is it in terms of being in BM at NMIMS and not in core or in general be at NMIMS. Bhai BFSI is the strongest sector for recruitment at NMIMS so then how can we comment on its BANKING placement; better we should wait for 2011-13 placement report to be out ....thnx!!!!!

@anubhadh : no dude..I dont think thats possible..thats y from the beginning they have made HR separate..previously it was included in core..but not now..so only those should go into it who are sure as of now they want to be an HR specialist..not realize this an year later
