just to add on and give an indication on toughness of paper:
TISS paper is traditionally ranks on lower end in the difficulty scale when compared to exams like XAT .....though areas like social sensitivity etc are the toughest to crack , considering the fact that most people face difficulty in this area reduces the effect...
Generally cut offs would be around 60% of marks ( this for exams before the pattern changed)
Considering section 1 is common across courses , dont expect the verbal , logical etc to be tough ( Not all candidates applying for various courses prepare for CAT) ......

Hey 😃 Just a random query( sheer out of nervousness it seems), I have not received any communication from TISS regarding my center for examination so far. Does this mean that my center hasnt been changed from what i had selected while filling the form? Should i call their helpline and ask?
@TISSian@ank_mission_IIM Hi , I'm from Chennai and had opted for Paper-pencil mode. But, due to that my centre was changed from Chennai to Bangalore. Travelling there before the test would be inconvenient due to some genuine personal reasons. Can I now request for a change back to Chennai centre itself (online mode) ? Please help

don't worry... you center is same as you opted in application.... you will get your admit card by 7 Jan... :)

@suraj12345 just relex buddy. TISSNET 2013 only have 100question in 100 min thats it.no part 1 and part 2 only one paper for all.and as this exam introduce first time no one know about breakup of sections.and sections like gk,quant,va,ds,di comes.and each question carry 1 mark with no -ve marking.
@makmakesit it will be a NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH .....100 QUES 100 MIN AND THE BEST PART NO NEGATIVE MARKING \M/ HELL YEAH !!
@ank_mission_IIM i too applied for it with paper pencil mode but haven't received any mail regarding admit card. they will send admit card through email?
@ank_mission_IIM @makmakesit Guys, I called TISSCARE but they said, no now more changes are acceptable so I cannot change from paper pencil to online. Thus no choice but to travel to Bangalore to give the test. Any one else tried to change the mode now (after being told to shift centre) and got any help?? Please reply...
@chc9a082 for your question i think you tried from your part but they refuse so ehically(effect of xat) you ask your self one question are you really want to give tissnet or not if ans is yes then no matter of center or personal reason.now all you have no option and give tissnet thats it no matter what the circumstances is or will and for that you need is give one more hr to prep and sleep 1or 2 hr less so at the start of exam you stand same line at which all guys stand.and at the end belive that all things happens becoz god has some secreat behind that.
remember god helps those who help them self.have a good day.if your self say you dont want give tissnet then all the reason you have to say...
remember one ex.virat kohli dont go to his fathers anthinkriya becoz he have to payed ranji match to save his team from loose hope its helps
