Though this query is not for me, would nevertheless answer it.
A candidate can make ONE & ONLY ONE application. He/she has to select all the program/s he/she wants to apply to in that application only.
Hi everyone. I have a couple of queries. Pls try and help me out.
a) is there any poll here on test takers choosing either written or online? many have submitted applications, so I guess we can have a poll... as this is a rare scenario that a college is offering an option, would just like to how many are up for the diff versions..
b) I am more comfortable giving written test, but I hope the infrastructure related to conduct of test will be on par with the online one. Again, judging by the poll results I could make a call. what could be the pros and cons? TIA

Just a quick reply to your answer. If u want to appear for the written test. so be it. There wont be any kind of disadvantage or advantage of any mode. It depends entirely on personal comfort.

1) NO idea why the sample paper is not up yet. As I had mentioned in one of my posts earlier, you will have to bear with the IT department over here. This is just the practice session :mg:

Don't worry. You will have to fill a Detailed Application Form (DAF) once you get the GDPI call.
You can rectify your mistake in that. Focus on the preparation as of now.

Too many questions. Sadly, there is little help that you can/should expect.
Most of your queries will be solved if you go through the brochure or at least, this thread.
For which programs u should select, it's obviously you who has to decide. NO ONE can give the correct answer to that question but YOU.
There is NO syllabus for the exam. The exam would be pretty much on lines of other competitive exams, with a few changes of course. Wait for the model paper. You will have a better idea.
There cannot be a syllabus for such exams. Just a broad framework.
what is the placement scenario{i mean d pay package} in m.a in globalisation n labour ? one more query is the social ent. course is for ppl who wants to set up their own firm or is it like a general managemt prog
In my college CGPA was calculated on weighted mean basis.
So, for yearwise entry of marks, will I have to take normal average or weighted average, because in lots of cases credit for odd semester is different from credit of even semester.

I may be a bit late in asking this question but can somebody tell me ..what wil the second paper be like for MA in Development studies ...I have seen the brochure of 11-13 programme , they have mentioned an analytical based test in that..but there is no such information in this brochure..pleaase can somebody tell me its pattern...it will be of much help to me..Thanx in advance

I am from Engineering background working in Tech Mahindra. Please tell me Aabout placement statistics of HR and Labour relations of TISS. I have seen the name of companies visiting but have no idea of package. Can u give an approx of amount of salary offered.
@v_pant This year there will not be any course specific second paper. There will be one single paper common to all courses followed by a Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview
@agarwalpiyush88 well no one except current or past TISSians would be able to clarify your query. This is a public forum and thus such facts and figures aren't posted here
@GmaneGenius thanx a lot for the reply....so that means the content of the PIT will remain same ....irrespective of the course chosen is HRM & LR or DS....will the level of the PIT and the 1st paper be different..and last but not the least will there be a final interview session after the 2nd paper...
@v_pant I am not sure, however, mostly PIT+PI will be held on the same day. Content of PIT might vary as per the course. There are no instructions or guidelines for the PIT yet. So kindly concentrate on TISS NET as of now..
