technically there is not much difference between MBA HR and MA HR
however MA HR would provide u a degree
MBA HR in most cases is PGDHRM or similar courses gives a diploma in PGDHRM

Degree and diploma comparison arises only when one plans to pursue Ph D specially outside India and in some foreign Institutes degree is must
but in Industry its the Institutes brand name that matters the most rather than what the institute offers whether it's degree or diploma

@gdm4u87 .Can u plz clear that the filled online application forms iare to be posted or we have to fill only online,bcoz its mentioned in the brouchre last date for receiving applications by post. while nothing is mentioned as such in application procedure.

In the second round of selection they have mentioned something on "pre interview" tests..also that it would be a written round...what exactly do they mean by that!?

@deepika0203 @iisac It won't be of any use to determine the type of questions. Please wait until 30th October. You will know the format, the types of questions, and also topics covered. Until then gather info about the institution and also about the course(s) you are aspiring for.

@flaky_instincts - If you are shortlisted for any program in the common entrance exam you will be called for second round at TISS. Depending on which program you select the "pre-interview test" will be either a GD or Written test . I think this written test will be more subject specific although details are not given as of now. Also, they will have an interview. .... so basically .. second round of selection has 2 parts 1. GD or Written Test & 2. PI

Posting after a long time here. Good to see some of the aspirants taking up the baton. Keep up the good work

Off late, we have been really tied up due to several reasons. The only thing that we can compromise and give time to our studies is--> SLEEP
Might not be able to be very active for a few more days. Will be back as soon as I am free. If you have anything that is urgent, you can always PM me. I will try and get back to you.
For people who are still waiting for updates on programs in health school, you will have to wait a tad more. The seniors from health school would be free in two or three days and then I will get them to work

As mentioned in the Brochure:

€ For those applying for any of the Social Work Programmes at TISS Mumbai the PIT will be a
Group Discussion.

€ For all the other programmes at TISS Mumbai, the PIT will be in the form of a Written Test.

So this means the HRM &LR; course will have a Written Test as it's PIT ?

Is this information accurate ?
