the process started at 9 pm....but be present at 8 am........
I got free early but there are many applicants still waiting for their turn...
So,if u book return tickets,make sure its not before atleast 5 pm.....

TISS PIT/PI experience
I reached TISS at 7:30 AM....
then,We got to see where we have to go at 8AM......
After getting seated in a hall named as WADIA hall in nauroji campus of TISS,,,,The PIT got start at exact 9 AM....

2. Emotions in HR:A Competency to have in HR managers
I chose the 1st option.....didnt had much idea about the 2nd topic.....
35 minutes got away like 3.5 minutes.....So,be fast in PIT.......
After that,we had to wait for around 1:30 hours before PI....in between seniours came nd introduced us to the college culture by some ppts n all...nd a doubt clearing session also took place after that...
So,finally the PI got started at 11 AM.....It was a random call...everyone was called randomly...
My turn was at 1:10PM....
There were 3 interviewers in the panels....1 south indian male professor(SIM),1 south indian female professor(SIF) and a young guy who I think was alumni....
As I entered in Room....
Me-Good afternoon sirs,Good afternoon mam
SIM-good afternoon,plz sit.....
After I sat
SIM-Give me ur file
Me-It has xerox copy of all certicates,,not originals
SIM-doesnt matter,,,give me..........
SIM-Tell me about urself....
ME-blurted out the crap......which includes my hobby as playing TT....
SIM-Ok,so tell me happenings in TT in india in last 15 yrs....
Me-Sir,I just play TT,,,,I dnt follow it that much religiously.......
ALL laughing including the young one....
SIM-ok,ok,,,atleast tell me about some players of TT in India......
Me-In olympics........

SIM-no,no,no,,,not abt olympics players,tell me about indian players....

A word of caution . TISS faculty does refer to Pagal guy . So post here with caution. keep unnecessary humour ( As can be seen in the above post on pronounciation of SIM ) to self .
Do post the experience ( i was benefited by experience of others and ensured i posted it as detailed as possible 2 years back) .
Also for those attending the process in coming days :
The purpose of interview and questions asked is to understand ur suitability to the course and ur individual maturity levels . So even if u find the question to be so silly, do give it importance and possible add a new dimension/perspective in answering it .
Seats are not given to the most intelligent or to the one having very good knowledge on current affairs but rather to the one most suitable for the course

HRM & LR interviews happen in New campus of TISS . Academic building 2 fourth floor is the venue .

I am not particularly aware of though there are a good no of decent and budget hotels in Chembur ( 10 mins from campus) .....Check with people who attended interviews from Mission Tiss HRm&Lr; group on Fb , they can give you more useful inputs ....
