@himanoj1982 you said in a post that we have to send the DAF by post. but in the mail we have received it's written that we have the carry the DAF and summary in person and submit it on the day of pit/pi.. they haven't mentioned anything about sending it through post..

I think It shud be sent to them in hard copy (we did it last year)....U can also keep a copy so that u know what u have written in the DAF...Ur interview revolves around DAF

Can someone tell me.. where is the list of documents needed for PIT/PI (kindly provide the link in TISS website and not what is used to be asked in the last years)?? bcoz i didnt find anything in the mail they sent and neither in the DAF, we had to download.
@AvishekDas The list of documents remain pretty much the same. Marksheets, certificates, Work ex proof; they pretty much suffice the needs
@GmaneGenius : i hav been shortlisted as obc. these docs are needed but are they req for pit or during time of admission. i hav all docs except non creamy layer cert. if i fall in creamy layer will they cancel my application ?? or just cancel exemption in fees concession wch i dont mind.

admission i suppose coz its written some where in brochure and as per government rule unlike other categories only OBC benefits are available for NC OBC candidates only ,if u are under this category then apply for it it takes around one month to get it buts its valid for only one financial year

some one have mentioned about income certificate /form 16 ???

List of Documents Required for PIT/PI
(a) One passport-sized photograph.
(a) One passport-sized photograph.
(b) Bank Challan: Portion of challan marked for TISS (stamped by the SBI branch where the
processing fee was paid).
(c) Income Certificate: All candidates should compulsorily send the income certificate of their
parents/guardians in the form of salary certificate issued by their employer OR previous year's
income tax return filed by the parents, OR pension order OR Income Certificate issued by the
employer on the company's letterhead. Applications received without proof of income will
not be considered and the processing fee will not be refunded. Candidates belonging to SC
and ST categories and whose parent's/guardian's income is below Rs. 2 Lakh need not send
the challan, but should send the attested copy of income certificate for the year 2011–2012
and the caste certificate. Candidates whose parents' income during 2011–2012 is more than
the aforesaid amount should send the challan and also the caste and income certificates.
The Income Certificate should have been issued by a Revenue Officer of the respective state
government. Certificates issued by the Talati or MLA or MP or any official who are not from
the Revenue Department will not be accepted.
(d) Bonafide Certificate: Candidates pursuing final year of degree should send a bonafide
Signature of Principal with date
and College/Institute's Stamp
(e) Final Year Marksheet: Candidates who have completed their graduation should send
either a copy of the final year marksheet showing their results or provisional/completion
certificate issued by the college/university or degree certificate or any other certificate
proving successful completion of graduation.
(f ) Detailed Application Form: After the National Common Written Test, short listed candidates
are required to download the detailed application form from TISS website and bring the
duly filled up application form along with them at the time of PIT and PI.
@GmaneGenius : i vl try to arrange fr it. and they want non creamy cert for financial year 2011-12 or 2012-13 wch is yet to finish.
@amit4JB Yeah, that completely fine. Just contact TISS CARE once and communicate your issue. They will guide you in a better way
Shit man i got 8th 😞 and i am fighting with travel plans and other prep. They should have postponeded the dates acc to the declaration of results
