Ya. Its WAT for new IIMs and no GD. You will asked to write on a given topic. And your write up will be evaluated based on factors like 1) Sound knowledge in the given topic2) Coherent structure.3) How you justify your stance
What will be the word limits and how much time will be given for writing?
Oh!! what a fantastic selection policy with no consideration for individual boards and the leniency of marking. Now, as per this, a UP board topper who gets around 83% will have to be content with a score of 3.5/5 in 10th and a 7/10 in 12th, while an average TN/AP board guy who can very easily score 92+ will enjoy 20/20. Same goes for the 2nd/3rd rung engineering colleges where people score in the high 80's and 90's and people from NSIT/DCE/IIT's have to struggle for being in the 70's range. HAIL!!! the policy. God knows how they will teach us management when they are themselves so mismanaged.

You have been shortlisted for Written Analysis Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) of PGDM Programme of all or some of the six new IIMs (Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Trichy, and Udaipur). Please visit IIM Raipur €™s website to check the details. As it is mentioned in the admission policy, WAT & PI scores of the shortlisted candidates who are common with some of the older IIMs will be directly collected from them. We are hopeful of receiving the relevant details from the older IIMs by 25 January, 2013. Once IIM Raipur has all this information, you will receive an e-mail for Login details.
