While registering, under which category you registered? In which all IIMs have you got shortlisted? Can you please elaborate on your issue.

Hi, I have done a big mistake while submitting my academic score of Xth and XIIth during registration CAT 2012. In hurry, I have entered best 5 subjects marks instead of all subjects (that appear in the mark sheet)

Xth/SSC 93% 90.5%
XIIth/HSC 87.2% 85.5%

CAT OA: 98.13
QA/DI: 93.01

I have call from all Six New IIMs. However, while calculating marks as per the shortlisting criteria of new IIMs, this variation is either falling in range for e.g. 85-90 or difference is of 1-2 points.
So, can anybody please tell me, will my candidature will be nullified as mentioned in CAT registration guide or there is some hope for correction at later stage, as I have done in IIM K registration.
I m really worried..pl help..what can be done now...

It is fine when you attend WAT/PI but you will need degree certificate during admissions. So try to get it ASAP.

@grahul22 If the fact that you can calculate your Xth and XII percentage as the total of the best 5 outta 6 is mentioned in your Xth and XIIth marksheets, you would not have any problem.. If not, if your shortlist has been based on your school marks then it would be a difficulty..
@Dhileeban Yes it is mentioned in both the mark sheets (Xth & XIIth) that to pass the examination we need 5 subjects only
