Shortlisting for new IIMs doesn't depend on calls from old IIMs. You have to clear the second round so as to get shortlisted in IIMK. Does this answer your query?

1. Exp. Certificate is fine. Joining letter is only for those who doesn't have exp. certificate.
2. It should be under 6 months old. Gross income will be considered. NC OBC certificate issued by tehsildar is enough.

@IIMRaipur : I have a similar query. I received a mail from IIM Kozhikode stating that I was eligible to register online for IIM kozhikode. But I have not been shortlisted for any of the 6 new IIMs. The final shortlist of IIM Kozhikode will be declared on 28th January. Now, going by the instructions given on the left hand side of the login page in IIM Raipur website, am I actually not shortisted for the new IIMs or I 'need not' attend the WAT, PI process 'if I get selected for IIM koz final list on 28 Jan' but will be considered for the admission into the 6 new IIMs? Thank you in advance.

IIM R is asking for HR application separately this time ..... any idea what cuttoff would go for it ...... last time they did not asked for any such seperate application ??

Shortlist and call for WAT/PI are different.

If you are in the final shortlist of any of B/C/K/L and also if you have been shortlisted by new IIMs, only then you need not attend the WAT/PI of new IIMs. And scores from old IIMs will be considered for final selection of new IIMs. Hope you got my point.
