HEy Seniors,

Little late in following the thread...

Anyway got into NMIMS Banglore....Score 58.76..... rank 183.... am going to mumbai on 26th for registration.

Some queries...

1. Better to stay in hostel or outside??

2. when should i be submitting the hostel accomodation form??

3. Migration certi, med claim ploicy, med fitness certi and recomendation from registrar can be done later??
The PR committee is bit busy with the Upcoming Corporate Meet & Budget Analysis, so i request your Patience till they address all your Queries.

Staying in Hostel or Outside is completely as per your convenience. Currently in the Batch of 72, apart from 6 of us rest all Opted for hostel:biggrin:. In case of any Assistance Feel Free to Contact Us.

PR Committee will able to guide you well in terms of Hostel form Submission.

Last year we been given due period of about 30Days after the college started for submission of all pending documents,For this year's Schedule and time Frame you have to wait till PR Committee Responds.

I have converted NMIMS Blore, (Rank 305, Score 56.34). Can you please PM me your contact number, i need to clarify few things?


Most of the current students said that they will start talking after actual results are oiyt. I request you to kindly reply as genorously as possible

My profile:
Total Experience: 54 months
companies worked
(2011 to till date) ADP tax and finance services
(2007 to 2011) IBM Global Business Services
Current salary :7 LPA
Current Role : Senior software engineer


My are of interest is IT & Operations
1)Do you think it is advisable to join NM blore with such high work experience?
2) What are the profiles that are offered for IT specialization? I need specific details , And Project managemnet (or) consultant roles offered? I need to know about that roles that are offered to people with work ex more than 3 year. >
3) What are the IT companies that visited NM blore? I checked the NM Website and found that a SURPRISINGLY low number of IT companies visiting NM Blore, I was thinking companied like IBM, Deloitte , Infosys will surely make a visit due to the location(blore). howver did not find these names. Please try and give a list
4) What was the Avg pay offered per month for the summer internships?
5) What is the highest and lowest offered for IT profiles?

There is no point if you guys divulge placement related information after admissions are closed

I need this info badly and actually claim it as a right from the PR committee. I need to invest 2 years of time and nearly 13 Lakhs, So please understand and clarify my queries

however, I'm not paying the hostel fees now....Can i pay the same at a later date to avail the hostel facility at bangalore campus ??

There are limited seats available for hostel accomodation....so its better to book the seats as early as possible to get the rooms of your choice....

Dear All,

As per the instruction from the college management all admission formalities need to be done at Mumbai campus.

For all query related to hostel, I request you to wait till Monday. I will confirm it and let you know guys.

For all aspirants who are on waitlist and asking chances of conversion, let me tell you that we cant predict it because procedure is changed this yearr. Last year we did not had any waitlist ths year number of students applied for Bangalore campus is huge. So we will not be able to predict. We don't want to make any false statement here.

Apologies for replying late.. we are very busy with the upcoming events


For the placement related details, we will request placement cell to provide it asap. Interim report is already shares and same report is also available on site.

In case of urgency you can call to NMIMS Bangalore Admission Dept.

I just discussed with admission dept. Hostel fee is payable at Mumbai campus only not Bangalore campus. It is advised to pay hostel fee asap because hostel can accommodate limited number of students.
