In for PGDM at 203....... Never expectd mumbai wid jst 71 in QA but also didnt expect 200 for Bangalore.....its huge.....
But then nothing can be done....to all those who missed it....dnt get disheartened....May u all get great in life!!!
what the use of NM Banglore. The placement would be nearly 4 to 6 lacs pa and the fess we would pay for that would be 18 to 21 lacs. I think its great that they had close admissions at 200. So no chance to get prey..
i got my gdpi on 7th march....
bt i think if we ppl can score 200+ then we can work a lil harder
and clear mumbai cut off nxt yr....
i ll come back nxt yr... dont think nmims-b is worth 200+
also nobody is sure about placements @ b'lore campus..
so im not taking a risk of 10+ lac rs. and my career...

i dnt think people wid more den 200 will join nmims bang...even if they do they will keep it as last option....they must have gt other calls....
hyderabad toh bhool jao...both are still not ugc and aicte approved nd yes the fees is 13-15 lakhs..nd placement god knows...first batch...dnt think it will cross avg of 6-7 lpa....
its my opinion..srry if sum1is hurt
think that later dey have to call people with lesser marks

Dude...am not debating but how can one decide 200+ deserve XLRI,Mumbai etc etc. I got 203 but only 89.51 in CAT abd mere 78 in XAT....just 83 in SNAP and 39.xx in TISS.....I don't deserve them!!!!
Also Cut off is decided by takinv many factors in account...like number of applications received!! And this year NMAT form had the option to select all three campuses in a single form....this must have logically led to increase in applicants odr than Mumbai.
besides, NMIMS Bangalore may be a kid yet but its mother college is a brand big enuff to impart some status into them!!! Dont u agree. ??

I request you to check with NM Mumbai, because whole process is centralized frm thr.

NMIMS-B is UGC approved it comes under NMIMS university umbrella....
The fees for 2 year PGDM is 8.04...
The placements are going on good.....
Also in our batch most of the students have 200+ score.

hmm..you are right..!! I should not do that. It was just a reaction to the marks. And thanks for letting me know the fees for that Insti. But it was last year fees as I had searched that now. So this year they might increase the fees as they had had done with marks and hope that placements report would be out soon and shows the result according to their standards that they want now..

I agree the cut off for bangy n hyd is a bit high but the height is those who r shortlisted for gdpi have to pay Rs 950 for registration I thought the 2000 we paid (plus 1650 for retake) was inclusive of the entire admission process...
I have never heard of such thing before... NM has one of the costliest admission process

with ur 90 approx in cat u have many cat colleges to apply(more den 10)...its my personal opinion to target those ......

i wish whatever you said comes true...i scored 192 and cleared all sectional cutoff's.....but still did not make it

I can see that many people are commenting about whether NM-B or NM-Hyd is worth of 200+ cut offs...To them, it's not you to decide who's worth how much. Think about how much have you scored. If you are in the green, think about your decision whether to join or not. If you are in red, work harder if at all you want to make your dream, of becoming an MBA grad, come true....Avoid passing judgements, especially those, who are giving cooked up data about fees and placements....
