First of all Happy New year to all...Good to see some of the aspirants replying to their peers.... One thing I would say is that it is difficult to speculate cutoff, so if you think u can improve your score with the retake go for it.... Thanks smile4me1s for the reply.....This year the no of aspirants who applied for bangalore campus is also high....All the best....

Raguraj Says
Yes you are correct NM mumbai HR programme selection was a different process last year....But I'm not sure of the cutoff for the course last year...For more details post your query on the thread http://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/official-nmat-2012-nmims-mba-pgdm-admission-thread-25071111

Hey Raguraj
u said there was different cutoff last year for HR but the website of NMIMS says that there was a common cutoff for General MBA, actuarial science and HR..
please clarify
here is the screenshot for the same..

Also there is a lot of ambiguity regarding NMIMS bangy, the college is not listed in top 100 colleges in india (maybe because the college is new and will have its first PGDM batch pass this year, but it had EPGDM course running since many years, right?)..
Another point that came to my mind was the campus, it looks very small compared to other colleges and more like a single building college in the images. Hopefully it will get a better campus in few years (as read in a recent article). please don't mind my materialistic analysis but these are things an aspirant thinks of before applying...:)
The faculty appears to be good (most of them are Phds, as listed by the website), but what about the industry relations and placement...
that's a question, m sure, most of the aspirants are doubtful about..
It will be great if you seniors give us some statistical figures about the placement, i know its not in your hand to disclose the figures but you can at least tell a date by when the college decides to disclose the same...it will surely clear certain things....:):)

Fee structure as of now is 8,01,000 (tuition fees)
2,04,000(Hostel fees includes security deposit of 10,000 refundable)
Conveyance (bus) is provided as of now from hostel to college and college to hostel....Dual occupancy rooms..You can check the videos in Youtube to take a look at the hostel facilities.....
No other major expenses... Campus is in Koramangala....
A new campus is coming up at Bannerghatta road...
All the details cited here are as per last year....

I mentioned that the process involved in selecting the candidates for HR is different(meaning interview process is different) and Im not sure of the cutoff for HR....Please check the link which I have shared in my previous post as current HR batch from NM mumbai will be able to give the exact cutoff last year...ATB...

NMIMS-B will take couple of years to crack into top 50 as by that time couple of batches will be passed out...Kindly Refer to the following article, that will solve your second query

hai is it possible to get into nmims bangalore withs score 137

hai is it possible to get into nmims bangalore withs score 137

This year, it seems to have a tough luck!
Do not lose hope bud, they can anyday change their strategies and may opt for profile-based calls.? Who knows!

Here i might contradict with you Raghuraj(with due respect),as the cutoff not only depends on the number of applicants applying but also on the level of difficulty of the paper. And this has been proved right by NMAT itself. In 2009,the cutoff for Mumbai campus was 233 which lowered down to 210 in 2010,although the number aspirants raised in 2010 than 2009 by approximately 15%.This year since there was sectional timing, plus a slight raise in the difficulty level of the paper as compared to last year(i can say this because i gave the exam in 2010 as well as this year),might balance the number of applicants and the cutoff may not take a greater toll.No offenses as such buddy, just quoting some statistics...Njoy!!

Last year the no of applicants for bangalore was less than this year... I cannot speculate cutoff, but according to me any score above 200 is a good score this year......My suggestion to you would be to improve ur score and work on those area in which u scored less...ATB

That is why speculating cutoff is difficult..This is my opinion, might be that my views about no of applicants can be wrong but one thing I would like to say the no of applications last time was less because of some ambiguity ,this time because of increased awareness the no of applications increased so there is chances for spurt in cutoff...This is just my view... All the best
