This is Abhijit R. Kale, looking for PGDM course at chetana's Institute of management and research for batch 2011 - 2013. I am planning to go for operations as I have worked for 20 months in quality dept.
Seniors and others pls help me with details about faculty, placement packages & job profile and curriculum followed over there (i.e. more focus is on theory or on presentations and case studies); also let me know how is placement done I mean is student's committee involved in placement process right from first yr. ???
What is the colg timing, and is Sunday off? Is attendance strict over there? 
How much is the corporate exposure at chetana?
Note: If anyone wants to share some information which he/she can not share openly on PG then cam PM me

I guess there is no representation on PG from Chetna ... Someone shud network with their committees and get them on board ... I guess tht cud be a solution 😃

But the infra inside the college is good, the staff is awesome, co-operative.
GD was good and PI was awesome.. :

First tell about ur profile i.e. ur background, work exp, against which score have you applied?
What was the topic for GD? How was crowd over there? Did you spoke to seniors? Did college gave a presentation regarding their own awards, achievements, and placement?
Who were the panelist for PI? What kind of questions did they asked? Did they screwed?
How much time the overall process took? When are they going to display their list?

Have spoken to their Placement and Corporate Communications Committee , actually they were unaware of it . Have promised that some representatives will be coming on board to solve various queries on Chetna , which should be a good news for all yu aspirants ....

i had my Gd/pi on 5th July afternoon session....
Gd topics were 1. modern cinema is a boon to the Indian society
2. consumer satisfaction should be achieved at any cost...
the second topic was choosen...i bagan second and made an intro to the topic and current business trends in indian market...gave 8 to 10 solid points..and remained active in the sessions...gave some chances to others to speak...14 people only 12 present...it was very good from my inputs side....and they gave 1 min. to everyone to summarise/give their views 'bout the topic...
pi began after 5 mins. break....my pi was awesome...they stressed on my job profile and asked a lot of questions about it...2 panelists both females...and both were very patient listening my answers....it went for 'bout 20 mins...questions started frm...introduce urself and 'bout ur family background and qualification and work exp...some gk and current news n hobbies n interests...and general questions ...why mba and all that kinda stuff...overall its was very good too....
now jst waitin for results...!!!

by then the cap rounds also would hav been over and all d colleges would hav started!!!!!!!!!
wats the point in announcing the results in 2nd week of august??????????
also if i get thru emba at met should i opt for that instead?????

top 10 dont seem possible...
tried dalmia but dint get shortlisted :(...now emba and chetana r d last 2 options for me...n emba results would be out by 20th of this month...

hey, i had my gd/pi on the 5th morning. the gd topic was are engineers who mba a national waste. and the pi was pretty good to, they were friendly and a very stress free atmosphere. and also they said that the result would be out in the last week of july. it's mentioned in the website that college would start from august 16th.
