B-Schools accepting GMAT in India:

 

 

GMAT is a computer adaptive regularly conducted entrance test to measure the analytical, quantitative and verbal skills of a management school aspirant and it is utilized as a primary criterion for admissions into a wide range of management courses like Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Finance programs and Master of Accountancy. GMAC does not advocate any specific criteria; however, aspirants should have completed their undergraduate education before completing the registration to GMAT examinations. As per the test pattern settings, GMAT consists of four sections, namely, Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal assessment.

 

GMAC has reduced GMAT score ranges from a scale of 200 to 800. According to the GMAC, two out of every three test- taker usually scores on an average of 400 to 600. The scorecard contains the following background information of the candidate, namely country of citizenship, gender, date of birth, contact number, Institute of undergraduate completion, grade point average, major subjects, date of graduation, intended post-graduate study, and the highest level of education attained by the candidate.  

 

The GMAT entrance examination 2018 will be of a three-and-a-half hour instead of long four hours. The changes have been effective since the exam conducted on April 16, 2018. The exam contents and the time allotment per question remain unchanged. The GMAT exam will be evaluated abiding by the same parameters. It is the same GMAT exam, only shorter by a half hour.

The informal score report for the GMAT exams will be available to the candidate straightaway after the completion of the test. This score report considers the Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning, and total scores. The official GMAT score report will be available online to the candidates generally within 20 days following the test day.
