Uttar Pradesh Teachers’ Eligibility Test (UPTET) application online process commenced today. The applicants can visit the official website – updeled.gov.in or upbasiceduboard.gov.in to apply online. The closing date for the application filing is November 20 while the closing date to submit application fees November 21 declared to be the last date.
The examination administrative authority of Uttar Pradesh will carry the exam in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and Urdu. UPTET exam will be taken on December 22, and the admit cards for the state level teacher eligibility test will be accessible for download about 10 days preceding to the exam.

Application fees:
- In this season, the exam authorization has risen the application fee. The applicants from the general or OBC category required to pay Rs 600 for the paper I and Rs 1200 for both papers.
- SC and ST candidates have to strip out Rs 400 for one, and Rs 800 for both papers.
- PH candidates require to pay Rs 100 or Rs 200 respectively.
- The payment has to be made through credit card, debit card, net banking.
Exam Pattern:
UPTET is held to ascertain the eligibility for teaching posts in government schools in the state from class 1 to class 8. This exam involves two papers —
- Paper 1 will be endeavoured by those candidates who wish to teach from class 1 to class 5 and
- Paper 2 is designated for those candidates who intend to teach from class 6 to class 8, respectively.
