Cases of malpractices have been reported in the Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level Tier 2, 2016 exam according to videos and posts published on social media websites. SSC conducted the first session of the CGL Tier 2, 2016 exam today, November 30, 2016 and reports of mismanagement across centres has hit the market hard.
In a video (see link below) which seems to be shot by someone inside the exam centre, aspirants are seen attempting the paper in groups. In the same video, some computers have been shown left unattended. Despite instructions by SSC officials banning the carriage of mobile phones, students were allowed to carry their mobile phone in the examination center of Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Jasola, New Delhi. PaGaLGuY spoke to an official from this centre, who refused to comment.

PaGaLGuY got in touch with an official at the SSC office in Delhi. He however, asked this correspondent to speak to the exam centres where mismanagement issues has been reported.
Another test centre at Patparganj, New Delhi was also in the news this evening. Ashwin Kumar, a candidate at the centre said, “ The exam did not start on time. And there was no official around, for us to discuss anything.”
Similar outrages have been reported at Aditya International College of Engineering, Jaipur and Digital Edusystem and Services, Patna. PaGaLGuY was not able to speak to anyone at both the centres so cannot independently verify the information.

RN Modi College at Kota, Rajasthan was also found to be in the same boat. A candidate there told PaGaLGuY that his machine broke down during the exam.

The exam-in-charge at RN Modi College accepted there were issues. “As soon as were were told about the machines failing, we changed them and the exam resumed from the point where it has stopped”, the exam-in-charge said.

Aspirants are now demanding a re-exam of the SSC CGL Tier 2, 2016. Similar incidents were reported during the SSC CGL Tier 1, 2016 exam (conducted from 27th August to 11th September) because of which the SSC authorities decided to conduct the exam purely online.
