Directions (Q. 1-10):  In each question below are given two
statements followed by two conclusion numbered I and II. You have to take the
two given statements/one statement to be true even if they seem/it seems to be
at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the conclusions
logically follows from the given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.
Read both the conclusions and give answer (A) if only conclusion I follows;
give answer (B) if only conclusion II follows; give answer (C) if either I or
II follows; give answer (D) if neither I nor II follows; and give answer (E) if
both I and II follow.

1.  Statement: 

He emphasized the need to replace the
present training programme by other methods which will bring out the real merit
of the managers.

Today out of the world population of

Although the education system has

9.  Statement: 

Multinational fast food chains have reached
India with great difficulty, but the farmer’s associations are not ready to

In India, more emphasis should be placed on
