Me & Meenu’s Diary..

It was getting dark. I looked at my watch again – it was 7 ‘o’ clock! I took a deep breath. I have been waiting for her for 2 hours at our favorite spot. I looked at the path again, no sign. I was getting a little irritated, but I knew I had my ‘sport’ to pass time. I usually like the waiting time. I moved my hands in rhythm with the pick on the strings of my guitar. I began playing light music and started to think about her. A tune got composed instantly. I was overwhelmed with my own composition and began to love the notes. Music has always been my life, or may be more than my life. I love music, it makes me rock.

.

I was totally involved in my music, and I suddenly smelt her fragrance from somewhere. I also faintly heard the Scooty peop sound. I stopped playing and smiled. I kept my guitar aside and pick in my pocket and turned to see her. It’s pretty hard to express one’s feeling when you have a gorgeous girlfriend. I am lucky, I guess.

She smiled beautifully, her dimples seeming deeper than before and she looked fabulous. I’ve always admired her smile. She wore one of my favourite dresses – a red salwar and a black silk dupatta around her neck. My eyes stayed fixed on her hair curls that seemed to gently dance with the breeze. Her pale yellow skin, glowed and as usual I lost myself in her beauty.

She reached out to me and hugged me tight. I jerked once, and then threw my arms around her waist.

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry… that stupid warden…” her voice was soft but tensed. I stopped her.

“Shhh… easy babe… it’s ok… you came…love you…” I kissed her on her forehead.

“Love you too…” she replied.

We were at an old building located at one of the corners on my campus. The institute generally utilised that building for storage purpose. There were staff quarters besides that building, surrounded by big and tall trees. In fact, nobody ever came to that boring place but we did.

We sat on the steps at the entrance of the building. Even though it was dark some light was falling from west. In those shades of lights we held our hands together. She took out something from her bag and it was Kit-Kat chocolate. I smiled and took out another Kit-Kat from my pocket. We both exchanged them. She likes that brand of chocolate.

“Hey,how is your guitar practice…?” she asked.

“Pretty good…trying for some new tracks…” I said playing with her hair.

“Wow..! That’s news…” she said, her eyes wide.

I wonder what’s in her mind…
