The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBHSE) is the state board of education that overlooks the educational system in the state of Maharashtra. The Board functions to provide high quality education and maintain the educational standards. The board also conducts the Secondary School Certificate (class 10) and Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) exam for the students of the affiliated school.

The board has an all-round responsibility while conducting these examinations, right from looking into the curriculum to setting up of exam dates, evaluation of the papers and many more things. While setting the time table, the MSBHSE has to take into account all social and political factors, ensure that there no clashes in the exam dates, and provide students with adequate time to prepare.

After all such considerations, MSBHSE has released the examination time table for Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate exam 2019. Students who will be appearing can download it at the earliest as they must know the dates and time of their examination. The time table will also help the teachers in the preparations.

In fact, according to MSBHSE, if has released the time table this early for two main reasons –

  1. So that schools and teachers could make all the necessary preparations in advance.
  2. So that students could analyse the time table and carry out their preparation process accordingly.

In order to download the table for Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate exam, one can follow the steps given below –

One can easily download the time table with any other link, but it is advisable to check that they have downloaded the correct time table or not.

As per the time table, the Maharashtra SSC exam 2019 will be conducted in March 2020. The examinations will begin from 3rd March 2020 and will continue till 23rd March 2020. The timings of the exam will be 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for the first half and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for the examinations in second half. The papers begin with the subject of First Language, and the Social Science exam will be the last exam.

It is also very important to note that the board has reintroduced the internal assessment of 20 marks for subjects like social science and other languages. This change comes in lieu of the performance-drop that was noted in 2019 due to the scrapping of this system. Students should now prepare, keeping this change in mind, as it will help them score high marks in the exam.
