Latest Admission Updates for 2026–28
The IMT Common Admission Process (CAP) for the 2026–28 batch will begin on February 6, 2026.
Applications for IMT Common Admissions (IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Hyderabad, IMT Nagpur & IMT Dubai) will open in late September 2025.
Accepted Exams for IMT Hyderabad PGDM: CAT 2025 XAT 2026 GMAT (taken on/after Jan 1, 2022) CMAT is NOT accepted for Hyderabad (only for IMT Nagpur).
PI rounds expected between February–March 2026, conducted both online & offline.
Eligibility Criteria
A 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
Final-year students can apply.
Admission requires a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT score.

Stage 2 – Applicants are shortlisted for “Personal Interview” on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT Score/percentile.
Stage 3 – Final Selection will be on the basis of cumulative weighted average of aptitude test score, academic scores, personal interview score and work experience.
IMT Hyderabad was part of the global phenomenon, TED, yet again. TEDxIMTHyderabad left the audience with an enthralling experience. The second edition of TEDxIMTHyderabad on the 26th of August; saw a plethora of participants, esteemed speakers and interesting topics coming together in complete synergy. The theme of the event was “Speak To Bore”.
29th September, 2018 was a night to remember, as nostalgia and memories took over. The beautiful evening saw a proud IMT Hyderabad bask in its alumni’s achievement. With 105 alumni attendees turning up from across the country, the Alumni Connect 2018 was a grand success, as nostalgia and opportunities filled the banquet hall of Hotel Avasa.
With reminiscence of the past and an energetic optimism towards the future, the alumni family concluded the event on a high note.

The chance to be a champion and lift the trophy of success is here. This morning turned out to be exciting and sporty as everyone is buckled up to witness the most awaited sports event of the year. The opening ceremony of Periodos 2018 commenced on 17th november 2018 with the lighting of the lamp and speech by the director and faculty in charge who declared the event open.
The Day 1 was exciting as we were successful in engaging all the spectators as well as the participants in an enthralling series of events! Be it any sport at any time of the day, the teams kept cheering without the loss of enthusiasm and managed to keep the audience absorbed till the break of dawn.
