GATE 2017; NPCIL releases vacancy notification

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited(NPCIL) has released vacancy notification for engineers for the post of Graduate Executive Trainee (ET) through GATE 2017. Online applications for the post will be accepted from second week of January to second week of February, 2017.

Candidates who wish to apply to these posts will be selected only on the basis of GATE 2017 marks. Only those with a 4-year full time engineering degree in the following disciplines will be eligible to apply;

Civil Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Instrumentation Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Only those candidates who have appeared for GATE 2017 in one of the above mentioned disciplines will be considered eligible for recruitment.

Further, candidates (belonging to General and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% marks (aggregate marks of all semesters) in qualifying degree examinations.

Candidates appearing in a GATE paper different than that of their qualifying engineering discipline may not be considered for further selection procedure. This means, if a candidate with a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering appears for a Civil Engineering paper in GATE 2017, his/her candidature may not be considered for further shortlisting.
