UPSC CAPF 2019 Syllabus

The detailed syllabus for UPSC CAPF written exam is given below along with some instructions to be followed during the examination.   • Current events in culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental issues, industry, business, globalization.
  • Communications and trade among the nations.
  1. Indian Polity and Economy

  • India’s Political system.
  • Constitution of India.
  • Social systems and public administrations.
  • Economic development in India.
  • Human rights.
  • National and international security issues.
  1. History of India

  • Social, economical and political issues.
  • The growth of nationalism and freedom movement.
  1. Indian and World Geography

  • The physical, social and economic aspect of geography in India.


General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension

PART A (80 marks)

Question and answer type briefly that includes the topics such as

  • Modern Indian History especially freedom struggle,

  • Knowledge of security and human rights issues,
  • Analytical ability

PART B (120 marks)
