Eligibility

● Exam Results Accepted for: CAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT, appeared between June 2021 to March 2022.

● Should have completed graduation from a recognized university. Students appearing for the final examination may also apply.

● Should have 50% aggregate marks in Class 10th, 12th and graduate degree course.

Selection Process

● The students must appear for CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT.

● Shortlisting will be made on the basis of the exam score, academic performance and work experience.

● The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for an interview.

● The final list of students will then be released, based on the performance during the interview.

SDMIMD Director and Professor in Finance Dr. N.R. Parasuraman has been selected for the 'Leadership in Education Award 2018' by the Higher Education Forum (HEF). 

Every year HEF select the eminent educationist who has contributed substantially in improving education ecosystem, in general, higher education system, in particular; with academic achievements. This year the award was presented during the Annual Meet of the Gujarat Chapter of HEF held in joint aegis with the M.S. University held in Vadodara on September 29, 2018.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Learning Experience


SDMIMD offers a two year, full time, residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. The PGDM program is designed and structured to enable students to adapt to the changing requirements, challenges and opportunities of the global business scenario. It provides students with a strong theoretical and conceptual base.

Socially Relevant Project

All the first year students are required to undertake a project titled Socially Relevant Project (SRP) in the third term. This course is a compulsory TWO CREDIT requirement for completion of PGDM program.
The Objectives of SRP are to:

1. Sensitize students to Social Issues

2. Instil and develop ethics, social responsibility and philanthropy – values which the SDM Trust is reputed for

3. Expose students to non- corporate organizations, government departments, NGOs to help them understand the application of management concepts and principles to social issues

4. To serve like a curtain raiser to students who might consider Social Entrepreneurship as a career option

  

Summer Internship Project

The SIP is a 3 credit course and is designed to provide the PGDM student with an opportunity to work and gain first-hand exposure to the environment, work culture and processes that prevail in real-life organizations. Based on the learning of the first three terms of the program, the student is equipped with the conceptual skills, but lacks the experience of putting this learning into practice. SIP provides the intern an opportunity of learning and decision-making.

SDMIMD requires that every student undergoes such an experiential learning process at the end of the first year of the PGDM program. The SIP duration is 6 to 8 weeks during the months of April and May. The Placement Cell will help the students in finding suitable summer projects and will also provide necessary guidance in completing their assignment. Students may be allowed to source a SIP on their own provided the project details meet the requirement of the Institute. In such a case, the concerned organization should provide a written communication to the Institute before a specified date confirming the project.

1.EPAS ACCREDITATION  : At a special event during the EFMD Annual Conference of 2017 held at Berlin, SDMIMD was awarded the EPAS accreditation. The formal certificate was handed over by the Director General and CEO of EFMD to Shri. D. Surendra Kumar, Vice President of SDMIMD and Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director of SDMIMD.
 

2.EPAS ACCREDITATION : Recognizing the quality of management education and Internationalization at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysore, Global accreditation body EFMD has awarded the prestigious EPAS International Accreditation to the institution’s flagship program – Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). SDMIMD Mysore is the first Indian B-school to receive EPAS accreditation. With the current accreditation by EPAS, SDMIMD’s PGDM stands out with two internationally reputed accreditation.
 

3. ACBSP ACCREDITATION: SDMIMD received the International accreditation from Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA, for the 2-Year Residential flagship programme – Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

 Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on tuesday (22/11/2018) at Sdmimd Mysore.The celebration brought in the festive mode at Sdmimd Mysore. Decoration with buntings, posters of prominent personalities of Karnataka, and flowers, added color. The event started with hosting of the Kannada flag of 40 feet, followed by a special lunch with unique dishes of Karnataka was served by the students from 22 states. In the evening, sports and cultural programs were organized. Traditional local games of Karnataka were introduced to other state students.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management  at SDMIMD (PGDM):


SDMIMD’s core offering is the two years residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). This 2-year Residential PGDM Program has the ‘Equivalence to MBA’ by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) under the University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. of India.  Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA and the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD), European Union have awarded International Accreditation for this Program. 

 SDMIMD has achieved 100% placements. Our regular recruiters have been with us for a long time from the domains of ITES, Mfg, Finance, Consulting, Equity and FMCG fields. Every passing year we see a large number of new recruiters coming on board for the SDMIMD campus recruitment.

About the Conference

Human Resources Management, in today’s volatile business environment, is playing the role of a strategic business partner and the key differentiator in the business growth, development and survival of the firms. Effectiveness of HRM function is being evaluated by its level of contribution towards the return on investment of any organization, by keeping the specific performance-driven goals in mind. Eligibility:


· Graduates/Final Year Graduation students appearing for CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT or who already have valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT scores. Scores of any one of the above exams conducted in June 2018 up to March 2019 will be valid for the admission.
 

· Full-time graduation courses in any discipline recognized by the UGC/AIU.
 

· Consistent academic record of not less than 50% aggregate in 10th Std, 12th Std. and Degree. Students in final year of Degree to consider their percentage up to the Second Year/Last completed semester
