The Staff Selection Committee conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level examination and the Combined Graduate Level Examination every year. There will be 2 exams which the candidates have to go through; they are Tier 1 exam and the Tier 2 exam. Official website is https://ssc.nic.in/ .
The final step after the 2 exams is the most critical step which the candidate must clear; it is the Skill Test or Typing Test. The tier 2 examination for both Combined Graduate and Higher Secondary Examination was conducted in February, 2018.

In order to pass the Skill, test the candidates must type at least 35 words per minute in English language and 30 words per minute in the Hindi language.
The Skill test for the candidates of Combined Higher Secondary examination and the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017 is reported to take place between August 16, 2019 and September 22, 2019. The skill test is a process which requires at least 3- or 4-months’ time to evaluate the performance of the candidates. The candidates of the CGL exam and CHSL examination have requested the Staff Selection Commission to speed up the process of the skill test and reveal the results as soon as possible. The Results of the Skill test is expected to arrive by November 2019.
