SNAP 2021 Syllabus

SNAP 2021 exam Syllabus is not pre-defined by Symbiosis International University, but it is grounded on the guidelines and current structure of SNAP exam. Past tendencies disclose that SNAP exam syllabus and pattern overall tests the candidate on the four test sections.

SNAP 2021 Exam on December, 2021 will be of 120 min duration computer based online exam. It covers the sectional test composition, number of questions, type of questions, important topics, scoring pattern in SNAP Test.

Section Wise SNAP TEST Syllabus
SNAP Syllabus 2021 is further split into sections and sub-sections. This sectional sub-division in SNAP syllabus makes SNAP 2021 as an exam with more than 6 effective sections as the three sections except Current Affairs are further sub- divided into sub-sections. SNAP 2021 exam syllabus is thus based on the past test patterns which includes questions from all these sections.

Section (I): Common English: Reading Comprehension, Oral Reasoning, Speaking Skills  

Section Highlights: This section contains all the components of English Language and the major parts covered are English Language, Reading Comprehension Passages, Oral Reasoning and Speaking Skills.

Simple Questions (MCQs): 30

Superior Questions (Non-MCQs): 5

Main Topics in SNAP Test Syllabus:

Reading Comprehension (RC) Passages: 10-12 Questions

  • 2 Reading Comprehension Passage followed by 10 questions
  • Reading Comprehension topics are based on Truths, Belief, Literature, Current Affairs among others
  • The SNAP Syllabus on reading comprehension passages does not throw hard questions
  • Reading comprehension Based questions are directly related to the reading comprehension passage contents

Oral Skills: 20-22 Questions

  • Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks
  • Phrases, Vocabulary usage
  • Jumbled Paragraphs
  • Correction of Errors in sentences,
  • Main Grammar usage – Conditionals, Active Passive, Indirect Narration etc.

Oral Reasoning: 2-4 Questions

  • Critical Reasoning

Section (II): Quantitative Skills, Data Understanding, Data Sufficiency

Section Highlights: This section syllabus covers questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Understanding & Data Sufficiency. Although Questions on Data Understanding are limited, they sometimes prove longer than questions on Quant and consume large amount of the time.

Section Highlights: Symbiosis International University Pune has revamped the Current Affairs section in SNAP Exam Syllabus. It has definitely made it easier for the candidates. The Current Affairs Syllabus in SNAP is narrow to the current affairs of last 2 years.
