National Fertilizers Limited is a state-owned organisation functioning under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) is headquartered in Noida. It is involved in production of several industrial chemicals and fertilizers, both organic and chemical. In fact, NFL is the second-largest producer of fertilizers in India. The job opportunities provided by NFL are available on its official website.
As per a notification released by NFL on 10th October 2019, several recruitment opportunities were announced. Candidates were invited to apply for the several posts with the last date of application is 16th November 2019. The last being so close, interested candidates should finish their application before time to avoid last-minute confusion and delay.
The recruitment drive is being held for a total of 270 vacancies for several posts in various departments of the organisation. The name of posts along with the number of vacancies are stated below –
- Senior Chemist : 30 vacancies
- Manager : 45 vacancies
- Senior Manager : 45 vacancies
- Transportation Officer : 30 posts
- Medical Officer (Medicine/ENT/Dental/Paediatric) – 120 vacancies
In order to make the applications, it is important that the candidates look into the relevant eligibility criteria for the given posts. Here are a few qualifications that interested candidates must take note of –
- Senior Chemist –
- Candidates should have M.Sc. degree in chemistry
- 1-year experience in controlled laboratory
- Maximum age of application is 30 years.
- Manager/ Senior Manager –
- Candidates should have M.Sc. degree in chemistry
- Several years of experience in controlled laboratory
- Maximum age of 45 years for applying
- Transportation officer –
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a two-year regular course on MBA
- 1 year of experience in handling various transport-related activities.
- The maximum age for application is 30 years.
- Medical Officer –
- MBBS degree
- 6 months experience in the specialisation subject
- Maximum age of application is 30 years
- Medical Officer (Dental) –
- BDS degree
- 6 months experience in dentistry
- Maximum age of application is 30 years
Applications can be made by the candidates only in the offline mode. In order to make the application, candidates will have to send the same to the address given by the NFL by the last date of application.

Candidates will also be required to pay a requisite application fees. The fees for the application varies according to categories to which candidates belong. Here are the fees details –
- E-5 : Rs 1000/-
- E-1 and E-4 : Rs 700/-
- SC/ST/PwD : Candidates from these categories are exempted from fee payment.
Candidates should finish the application process on time as no more applications will be accepted after the last application date.
