NEET ( National Eligibility Cum Entrance Exam) UG is conducted by CBSE for MBBS and BDS Admission in India. The exam was scrapped in 2013 but made a comeback for common medical entrance in India in 2016. NEET was held twice in 2016. NEET exam is the only gateway for admissions into medical & dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges of the country. All medical institutions consider NEET score for providing admission in MBBS/BDS courses. NEET UG Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the required age on or before Dec 31 of the year of admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. The upper age limit for the exam is 25 years on the exam date. A relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST. Candidates should have qualified 12th or equivalent exam with the Subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject. In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for general-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC NEET UG Exam Dates: Feb 08 - Mar 12 : NEET 2018 Application submission process Apr 17 : Download Admit Cards May 06 : NEET UG Exam Jun 05 : Declaration of Result NEET UG Result: NEET UG results will be declared on it’s official website - www.cbseneet.nic.in. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the directives of, DGHS, MCI and DCI. Student can be download results from website. The Board will not prepare any category wise result sheet. Candidates who qualifies NEET UG will be admitted to MBBS and BDS degree programmes. To check NEET UG results, aspirants will need their Roll number and Date of Birth.
