KIIT has released 2019 eligibility criteria along with the notification with admission. The eligibility criteria for 2019 describe the marks required by the candidates to apply for KIIT 2019. It also describes the percentage of seats reserved for the candidates belonging to the reserved category. Candidates must thoroughly check the eligibility criteria prescribed for the course they are willing to take before applying for KIIT 2019. The applicants who don’t satisfy the required qualification criteria won’t be considered for the examination regardless of whether they filled the application form. Competitors having a place with the Schedule Cast/Schedule Tribe/Physically Challenged contender to have an uncommon reservation as referenced in KIIT 2019 qualification criteria.
Please find the eligibility criteria along with the age limit required for the candidates to apply for KIITEE 2019 exam:
B.Sc. Nursing (4 years)
Candidate should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCBE) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in it.
Candidates who are willing to apply should be 17 years of age as on 31-12- 2018. The maximum age limit is 35 years of age as on 31-12-2018.
Candidate must have passed or pursued in 10+2 or equivalent course in a regular full-time mode.
Candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% as aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to become eligible.
Candidate should have .finished class 12 or equivalent in the year 2017 0r 2018.
Candidates appearing for class 12 examination or equivalent in 2019 can also apply.
Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 or equivalent courses.
Candidates who wish to apply should have been born on or after July 1, 1998.
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Engineering/ Technology/ (MBBS/BDS) Medicine with a minimum of 55% of marks.
Candidate should have been born on or after July 01, 1994.
M.Sc Nursing (2 years)
Candidate should be a Registered Nurse or equivalent in any State Nursing Registration Council.
Candidate must complete either of these B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% marks any institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
A minimum work experience must be one year after studying Basic B.Sc Nursing.
The candidates should have cleared class XII examination. They should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in their qualifying exam.
Candidates born on or after July 01, 1997 can apply.
KIITEE 2019 Reservation Categories:
As per the eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2019 the university has reserved seats for candidates belonging to the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Physically Challenged categories for admissions for B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology courses.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) category have a reservation of 15 percent of seats.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) category have a reservation of 7.50 percent of seats.
Candidates who belong to Physically Challenged category have a reservation of e percent of seats.
All the unfilled reserved seats will get converted to General Category seats.
