JEE Mains 2020 Result

Result For January Session to be declared on January 31, 2019

NTA will release the JEE Mains 2019 January session result online on the official NTA website i.e. as well as on the JEE Mains website Normalization of marks will be done to maintain equality between candidates appearing in separate shifts.

The January result will not be treated as the final qualification as combined Merit List for January and April session will be released on 30th April. This list will contain the AIR rankings and candidate score after normalization. Normalization procedure based on percentile score will be used for preparing Merit List.

The Mains result will determine eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced Exam (for admission to IITs). In case a candidate appears for both January and April attempts, the best score out of the two attempts will be considered while preparing Final Merit List.

How to check JEE Main Result 2019?

  • Visit the JEE Mains website i.e
  • Enter valid log-in credentials
  • This will redirect to the JEE Main result 2019 window.
  • You can check your normalized score in each section as well as total score.

JEE Mains Merit List 2019 will include All India Rank of the candidate along with the All India [Category] Rank. This will be available on or post 30th April 2019. The following details will be mentioned on the final JEE Mains 2019 Rank Card issued:

  • All India Rank in JEE
  • National Rank
  • Category Rank
  • Total (normalised) Marks in JEE Main
  • Marks obtained in each paper
  • Qualifying Status for JEE Advanced

JEE Answer Key

After the JEE Mains 2019 exam, the NTA will release the JEE Main 2019 answer key (shift-wise) with the recorded responses of MCQs of Paper-1 and Paper-2 in PDF format. Hence, candidate will be able to estimate the score obtained by him/her in preparation for the next attempt or to analyse performance.

In case of errors in the Official Answer Keys, candidates can fill the online application form and pay processing fees of Rs.1000 per question for clarification/revision if applicable. Post this process, the final answer key will be prepared on the basis of which Result List will be prepared.
