JEE Advanced 2019 Registration

The registration process is fully computerized. There will not be any offline mode of registration. The corrections can’t be done after submitting the form. So it’s well and good when the candidate is cautious while filling the form. The soft copy of the candidate’s signature and photo in required format must be kept ready before starting the registration process. The mode of fee payment is also done online. No offline mode is used for fee payment.

In case of JEE Main 2019, for the ease of registration process Common service centers (CSC) all around INDIA aid in the registration process for filling up the form and paying the fee by means of e-wallet. So one can expect the same in case of JEE Advanced. But this is not officially declared. The candidate has to confirm through the official website when registration process starts.

The following are the steps in the application process.

  • The Candidate will have to register for JEE Advanced exam by providing the basic personal information online and by agreeing on the terms and conditions.
  • After completing the registration process, the candidate will have to log in again and provide certain other information like the choice of city for examination and so on.
  • Later on, he/she has to upload the scanned copy of photo and signature in the required size and format which is detailed in the official website.
  • The candidate can correct the details until he/she strikes the submit button.
  • The fee payment is done in online mode either by using a credit card or by using a debit card or through net banking or through e-challan.
  • On successful completion of fee payment, the candidate has to agree on the terms and condition and click on submit button.
  • The candidate should take a print out of filled application form for future use.
  • In the case of fee payment, the payment will be easy when done through nationalized So it will be good when paid through the same. It is not that payment will not be accepted with other banks.
  • The fee payment details are jotted below. It is the previous year (2018) fee details. Fee details for 2019 can be known only when they officially declare in their website. The amount seemed to be increasing for the last two years.


                For the female candidates of all category and SC/ST and PWD it was Rs.1300 and for all the other candidates it was Rs.2600 when the exam center is within INDIA. When the exam center is outside INDIA, it was USD 160 for all the candidates irrespective of reservation and category.

In the case of foreign candidates, it was USD 160 for candidates from SAARC countries wherever they opt for the exam center. In case of candidates from non-SAARC nations, it was USD 300 wherever they opt to write the exam.
