IPU CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

It is very important that every candidate who wants to appear for the IPU CET 2019 examination. Eligibility criteria differentiate between a candidate who is eligible to sit for the examination and someone who is not. Not every student gets the opportunity to sit for the examination which will open their gates for different UG and PG degree courses offered at Indraprastha University. So here are the important eligibility criteria that the students will need to follow and match very carefully.

Courses Eligibility
B.Tech The candidate should pass +2 examinations with Physics, chemistry and mathematics. The candidates will also need to secure 55% marks in PCM and must pass in English as a compulsory language.
M.Tech B.Tech., M.Sc, B.E., AMIE, Grad. IETE, MCA in the relevant field. The candidates should have an aggregate of minimum 60% in total.
MBA The students should have passed any bachelor degree or equivalent to that form any recognised university. 50% marks in the graduation is a must.
MCA Any graduate with minimum marks of 50% in total. The candidates must have English and mathematics as main subjects in his/her 10+2 examination.
LLM LLB or any other equivalent degree in law with 50% marks or above from a reputed and approved institution.
BCA The candidate must pass the higher 2nd weekly examination with 50% marks from an approved institution.
In addition, he/she must pass the mathematics, English, and computer science (if he has it in his +2 examination).
LLB The incumbent must secure 50% marks in his +2 examination with the main subject as English from an approved and reputed institution.

Here are the important eligibility criteria for different courses offered at the Indraprastha University which the students should take a note down. But, there is some more information that they should read before following up with the other procedures for the entrance examination. Here are some other important criteria that one needs to meet in order to be eligible for this exam.

  • The lower and upper age limit for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs are 17 years and 21 years respectively.
  • For Bachelor of Vocation, the maximum age limit has been set to 45 whereas the lower age limit is 16 by December 31,
  • By December 31, 2019, the candidate must be at least 17 years old.
  • It needs to be mentioned that those who are blind, deaf or dumb are not eligible for the exam.

Indraprastha University authorities are very much strict about the eligibility criteria. Any candidate who does not match with the eligibility criteria that we have mentioned in the above table and points will not be able to sit for the IPU CET 2019 examination. So every candidate must read and check their eligibility and only then carry on with the other procedures of the examination.
