GATE 2019 Syllabus

GATE– Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering it is a test which has access to booming public organizations and in the field of research. GATE is an All-India examination managed and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising of Faculty members from IISc, Bangalore and other seven IIT’s with the help of the National Coordinating Board, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development.

GATE Syllabus for General Aptitude (GA):

General Aptitude (GA) is a simple section in all GATE Papers. General Skill holds 15% weightage. The questions in General Aptitude are based on verbal skill and numerical ability. The 2 sub-sections in General Aptitude section are as follows:

1. Verbal Skill-

Engineering Mathematics holds 15% weightage in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the paper codes: AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PE, PI, TF, and XE. This section tests applicant’s skills in mathematical methods and techniques which are majorly used in engineering.
