JEE Advanced 2017
JEE Advanced (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) every year. JEE Advanced 2018 exam was conducted by IIT Madras in online mode for the first time on May 21, 2017. In JEE (Advanced) 2017, students attempted two compulsory papers. Each paper is of 3 hour duration and has objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The question papers was provided in two languages English or in Hindi. JEE Advanced 2017 Important Dates: Last date for JEE (Advanced) 2017 registrations: May 5 Admit card available for downloading: May 10 JEE (Advanced) 2017: May 21 Online display of ORS and scanned responses: May 31 till June 3 Online display of answer keys: June 4 Online declaration of results: June 11 Online registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT): June 11 Architecture Aptitude Test: June 14 Declaration of results of AAT: June 18 Seat Allotment (Tentative): June 19 to July 18 Candidate is allowed to appear for JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. The HRD Ministry took a significant decision regarding JEE exams and decided that class 12 marks of the students will not be taken into account while admitting them to undergraduate courses of engineering. JEE Advanced 2017 Result: The result for JEE Advanced 2017 was declared via 7 mirror sites in IITs, while text messages were also sent to all the candidates on their performance. The qualified candidates are now eligible to apply for seats in all IITs across India.
