yes i am from Non Domicile..
what i meant was that your acads don't matter,not even extra curricular activites(at least in XIMB case as they don't ask you to specify ECA in any form)
Luck is not that big factor..
the only thing which matters is your common sense during GD/PI
my PI was very stressful but there were no mistakes from my side(they were abusing me on my acads thats all)
P.S:- One of my college batchmates got into XLRI with 93-94%ile only..

This year GDPI calls were given at 94%ile
I converted comfortably at 94.5%.

I was WL 211 in BM and was offered admission on 29th June. I declined it .....so the last one was 212 most probably in BM.....

once u reach to the level, u will be assigned one mentor, who will guide u through the whole process.
And XIM B GD is abstract one. They will test your attitude and common sense, with little bit of Knowledge.
Knowledge is important, but attitude and common sense matter the most in XIM B interviews

HRM till W/L 213 converted
BM not sure, but I had original W/L of 263, and my final W/L before admissions were freezed was 27. So roughly around 220-240.
