NULL HYPOTHESIS : women r better managers

now , applying chi square distribution for large sample test & taking a sample of 900 managers & solving ...

calculated value >> table value ;; i find tht the " NULL HYPOTHESIS " has to be outrightly rejected ...

hence we accept the alternate hypothesis . PERIOD.

There might have some sympathic scientific reasons.

As a MBA aspirant, I can only say that skils are not born they have to be horn in
humans life.

So I also go against the topic..........

Well, here the following points come up:

1. Let us assume that management has nothing to do with sex and has everything to do with the right skills.
2. For developing the right skills one needs experience and practice
3. Women in my view get a lot more management experience early on from managing the house which in itself is like running a small firm..and involves all kinds of managerial skills like budgeting, dealing with sudden crises, keeping the customer happy etc. and in case of working women add to it extreme levels of time management and stress management.
4. Women have been doing this kind of management for generations and as a result it is bound to get added to the basic genetic make up of the female species.
5. As far as not many women being present in the business world is considered, the reason is simply lack of opportunity. even today with the so called empowerment of women, the truth remains that not many women are encouraged to do a Post Graduation, be it lack of finances(in many parts of the country people still don't find it important to "waste" so much money on a girl's education as that of a son's because they feel that the daughter is not going to give them anything in return), or the fear of them surpassing the "marriageable age" or the pressure of motherhood..the fact remains that it is a lot easier for a man to make it big in the corporate world than a woman, but that does not mean that men are able managers.

Considering all the above points it seems that women are a lot better equipped to be managers than men.
