ill give u guys the real lodown on the Mckinsey Knowledge Center. They pick up about 6-8 guys from my college every year ie College of Business Studies, Delhi Univ from either our BBS or BFIA batches.
The whole package is around 2.8 lakhs with about 14 thousand in hand.
Work is mainly research for their consultanta. Was stupid enough not to sit for the interview during placement week as I thought it was nothing more than a glorified call center. But grads from there at least have an automatic call from SPJain. The same job profile is availible to MBAs from places like IMI and IMT except for a little hike in pay.

on a slightly unrelated note... what is the avg comp package that McK offers at IIMs ABC? I have heard this yr the CTC is 14lakhs, with 40k in hand. in hand seems rather low to me, given the CTC...

Boston Consulting Group goes only to ABC n no one else....then they have off campus placements from ISB.
all in all they only try to get 6 or 7 from ABC.
i really dunno how much they pay ..though my friend who works for it told me that their aint much diff between what McKinsey pays n what they pay....
what bout KPMG n Anderson...are they still hot like years ago....or....
