I accepted my offer to do a MBA at lancaster university, but I am starting to regret my decision. The reason I applied in forst place was because, i did not need to do a gmat test and the price and roi was reasonable. It also had some nice rankings in various league tables. Though lately, it is been dropping a lot -from around 25 to 71 in FT in 3 years.
I like warwick because their programme seem a bit stronger. They have better placement data and are tied to more management consulting companies.
If I apply for the warwick Mba, I would have to do the gmat test soon. And possibly take an additional loan of 8000GDP to cover tuition. Is this worth it?
When I am done I would like to move into consulting, if not, I would like to travel around in asia, australia and us to look for a job, hence it will be important that I do my MBA from a respected and well-known business school.
Please tell me if there is any difference between two schools? Would warwick suit me better or should I aim for better schools or should I be content with Lancaster
All the best
