The Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2019 which grants citizenship to persecuted minorities from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan staying in India got the approval of the Lok Sabha.

"Latest Current Affairs":- The Constitution (124th amendment) Bill, 2019 was approved by the Parliament. It guarantees 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of general category candidates. The reservation will be applicable for education and employment opportunities provided by Central and State governments.
