Actually even I wanted to apply for Cranfield..the only hitch for me is I dont have the GMAt score (couldnt take out time to give that)...is it possible to apply for Cranfield minus the GMAT...

I am not very sure whether you can apply without a GMAT score. The end date for International candidates are in May. Therefore you still have time for GMAT.

There is another test conducted by Cranfield University. You might ask the adcom about this test. The adcom at Cranfield promptly reply to your queries. I would suggest that you ask them and find out about the GMAT

Thanks Barun !!

Can you suggest some good blogs about UK MBA's...In the mean time Iam already trying to contact some
ex-alumni....

Most of the blogs that I regularly visit are of Cranfield students and alumni.
They are specific to Cranfield, but yes they would give some useful insight about UK Mba. You can vist Amit's e-world . You will find other blogger names there.

Since you got admit to Cranfield ,could you help me your profile also....

First of all congratulations on securing an admit for yourself.

I intend to stay back in UK post MBA for a couple of years to gain some work experience before moving back to India.Iam a telecommunications engineer by educational background now on the Pre-Sales and Business Developmet side and have 5+ yrs exp. in an Global Telecom MNC.

In most of the cases people do stay back and gain some international experience before returning to India. I have got an Admit to Cranfield and I too have similar aspirations. I am sure you will get the job you want post MBA.

As per my analysis , Lancaster is good in case I intend to move into the consulting fieldor do some research (which is not what I will be doing) ,Bradford is good in terms of value for money and its Marketing module ,Aston is again good for Marketing and HR with good indutry links.

I think you can speak to the students and the alumni to get an good insight into the school that you want to join. I have got some really good help from ex-students and alumni. Also in today's era you can perform a good amount of research via the web. In most of the cases there would be some blog by a student who would be sharing his experiences at the school.

Bradford is listed in HSMP which gets me a stay in UK automatically for working. But again I feel I can make the HSMP points even without the MBA provision. At the same time I want to do my MBA from a school that has a global brand recall value and a reputation for its MBA in terms of employability post MBA.

There are some changes to the HSMP program. Please have a look at the new policy. It will not affect the existing program but you still might want to have a look at the policy. In most foreign MBAs you would have to put in some effort from your end for jobs. The school will help you out but you have to put in some effort. Hopefully you are aware of this.

Wish you all the best and keep posting your experiences.

Need some suggestions about chosing the school considering the above criteria.

P.S : Can some one tell me a bit about the Aston MBA !!
