personal...washing your own clothes or pay 5-10 bucks each piece to dhobi depending on whr ur school is, your choice. learning a bit of basic cooking helps.
profnl...reading bizworld/b-today, eco times or bizline regularly. make it a habit. defntly good ppt and excel..as many puys told.
chk out PG for alumni and ask for help.

2) brushup , ms office
3)learn the guitar or some othe music intrument
4) Learn dancing , helps in the "introduction" sessions"
5) Practice yoga , and breathing techniques
6) Make very clear cut goals for urself
7)Try and converse in english as much as possibleEngineers should study something related to eco and accounts
9) arts graduates should study some basics of POM

u should be well versed in power point presentation,ms-word,excel
quant funda should be clear
improve ur communication
remember one thing u should not be competing against others,but ur self in b-school.

well,i usually never post bt mostly read da various threads bt i felt i had 2 say smthing here....when my sis gt selected fr a b-school 2 years back they sent her some books(i don't xactly know wat they were) and she studied them da whole of her holidays....will try 2 find out wat they were n post it here.....
