I scored a M50 V31.
So I messed up Verbal big time though i wasnt expecting so low on Verbal.

These days with my current work i feel I can take out 2-3 hrs per day for the Prep.
and a lot more in weekends.

I didnt apply to any school last year coz i was just fresh out of college.
I wrote the GMAT in 7 weeks.

I am a B.Tech(Electronics) from a premier college working in Infy since last August
after passing out of college. So I lack on the ex part.
I feel that I can write GMAT this year and then apply next yr.

Thatz from my side....

so u wud now have 1.5 yrs of work ex?
time is not a constraint. prepare for about 2-3 weeks. Give an ETS mock test. see where you stand and then decide if you want to go for another shot. you wudn't want to mess up your decent score.
but yes, being in the IMI grup, you need to take it up to about 720 or higher.
verbal wud be and shud be your area of focus. get on to it.

Cheers

Last year August. So did you apply to any schools last year itself? (like ISB?) Did you get any feedback on your profile from there?

It's hard to predict what effect a GMAT score of 680 would have on your profile (and hence, how should you prepare for a retake if you have to), without knowing much about the profile itself.

I agree. what was your break-up last time around?
where do you think you goofed up?
did you have / do you now have enuf time for the test?

cant really tell u much with your general statements
