What is the max possible waitlist movement for Ops?
Guys, can someone share last year's wait list movement information?
IM - W/L at 95.
Does anyone think I hold a chance?
In the first stage ( psychometric+wat) I ended up spending a long time on the psychometric test. As a result I had very little time...like 10 minutes for writing the essay. I felt the quality of essay that I wrote was really bad. Can this be a dealbreaker??
Does anyone know the exact date in March on which final results would be announced?
12 Feb 2pm
Mumbai SPJIMR Campus - Operations
The process began with registration. Decide your 5 best achievements before hand, otherwise you may get confused over there. Then followed the psychometric test in which we had to give reason for selection of a partciular answer for any of the 6 questions.
The essay was on "The biggest regret in my life". Beware guys, do not mention your professional failure/ regret in this. You might get caught in the GI.
GI-1 (7- 2 operations, 3 marketing, 2 IM)
P1- Operations guy. Quite cool but very witty. You cannot fool him.
P2- Soft spoken. Was noting down answers.
We were asked to introduce ourselves in a particular order (Achievements, goals, Why Specialisation and why SPJIMR)
Connecting questions on everyone's introduction. Please pay attention to what others say and get acquainted with your group before the interview.
Freshers were grilled a bit. A girl was asked to sell a product to the other girl and later we were asked to comment on the same. A few questions here and there on work ex.
4 selected(1 marketing girl and 1 operations guy got rejected.)
P1- Prof. Shesha Iyer
P2- A senior Prof.
6 of us.
1st question- Sell yourself. They wanted us to be precise but everyone spoke for around 3 minutes.
Couple of questions on ethics. Everyone was asked to answer the same question. Done. Not much except your values were tested in this interview.
Again a psychometric test and pen drives were given 😃
Overall a great experience. Be clear on your stand people. And ethics and values are important. ATB
