This year's placements report mention 158 eligible candidates for placements. This is a considerable difference compared to the total students at SIMSREE. Can we know what are the eligiblity rules for placements?

Becasue these numbers seems to be worrisome for a college like SIMSREE.

if u dont attend lectures properly, are unplaced after many consecutive rounds, hv poor performance in college, the college will ask u to opt out or will forcibly omit to maintain placmnt figures

This is mainly because some of the people opt out from the placement process and many students get their Pre Placement Offer from the companies.
